Regarding The Guardians Comic
So I realize I have not been here in quite some time. So much so the formatting on the site is very foreign to me now. ^_^;;;
It's been about roughly four years or so since I last made a page for the Guardians and I know some people may still be wondering after all this time if I'm still working on it. The short answer is no. Now I don't like cancelling things, I like to always leave the possibility open but at this point I've moved on with other things and it's been so long you should know I don't have any intention of continuing it at the moment. I am so grateful for all of the people who read and enjoyed it and it was a project I had a lot of fun doing. To be honest I had huge plans for the plot line, but I think they may have been too big for me to handle. **Spoilers for some plot ideas!**
Reuniting with Ignitus as the Chronicler, return of wind and water dragons. A secret that Abyssia was holding a large portion of female dragons as her prisoners which is why there was such a large absence of females (which may explain Volteer and Cyril's behavior) in the series as a means to kill out the dragon population. Spyro and Cynder having a twin egg who would become the dragons Tick and Tock. Kindle reuniting with Lasair who had amnesia. All fun stuff. There's more ideas but I can't seem to remember off the top of my head.
That being said why does the story have to stop with me? If someone else would like to continue this storyline by all means I would love to see what you dream up as a continuation of Kindle's adventures as a fire guardian.
Many of you know I am a Mom and I now have two kids in school. It's quite an exhausting schedule to say the least and I want to be sure I'm there for them and give them everything they need. As far as my art I've really taken to sculpting nowadays which is something that I used to do a lot of in my childhood. Making figurines is something that I really enjoy doing and also can earn a bit of extra $$ to help support the family.
2019 Art goals and Happy New Year!

This year I will be aiming to get more organized. I'm sure other artists can relate to having a brain that is like a web browser with 150 tabs open at any given time. The ability to focus has always been elusive to me, but I hope with careful planning and getting my desk area organized my thoughts will be more clear. I currently have an office area with one overloaded desk, a pegboard wall I built myself that is overloaded with misc tools and supplies and TWO folding tables loaded with molds, resin, cast pieces, shipping supplies, etc. I saved up enough to purchase a cheapy pressure pot to delve into pressure casting (think beautiful bubble free crystal clear casts), but I have yet to use it because of not being organized.
Here's to a new year filled with more dragons!!
Hurricane Update!
Around town there's some damage to signs, flooding, and downed power lines. All of my family is without power except for me by some miracle.
